I have switched mechanics to Honest-1 Autocare because of their attention to detail and close inspection of problems I have with my car. Recently they saved me thousands by carefully assessing and explaining why my car did not need what two other places had told me.

They did an amazing job on my 2012 RAV 4, it's a huge improvement from what it was. They were super nice, and they know what they are doing.

I would like to say thank you to the friendly and very helpful people that works at this location. I’m from out of state for my kid’s soccer tournament consisting of 1200 teams from all over the US and other countries. The day we were supposed to go the fields my car started to have problems, (smell of electrical burning, and a noise I’ve never heard from my car). Fortunately my family was able to get a ride with another family. I saw that there was an Honest 1 about less than a mile from the our hotel, Eagan West location, the front desk person said that they didn’t have any availability and that maybe this location has one in which they did. He even did a quick test of my battery and alternator even though he didn’t have to. Thank you to the gentleman that help me in the morning of 14 July 2023. So I brought my car to this location and was greeted with a friendly smile. After explaining to him my situation, he said that he was able to have someone work on my car and it will be the first car they’ll work on. After the mechanic checked it, the front desk person said that it was my alternator and recommended that I have my battery replaced as well, and so they did. They even gave me ride back to the hotel too. Honest 1 even supports the military and veterans, as a retired veteran myself I truly appreciate what you’re doing for the military by giving a 10% discount on over $100 repairs. If it wasn’t for your exceptional service I wouldn’t be able to enjoy watching my kid play soccer because I would of been stressing and worrying about how and where I can have my car fixed before going back home. My family and I want to thank you for all you’ve done for us. For anyone needing any help with their vehicle, I highly recommend Honest 1 a try. Thank you again!

“Honest” is accurate. The crew got me in on short notice and saved our road-trip! Other pros: You can make appointments online, and they text you a link with comprehensive details of the work that was done, who did the work, and photos. I got an oil change (at another place that I’ll never be going back to) the day before a long road trip. When I got the car home after the oil change, I noticed it was dripping oil. I wasn’t sure if it was oil that spilled during the change, or something wasn’t tightened properly and oil was leaking. I didn’t want to hit the road without knowing my engine wasn’t leaking oil. I called the Eagan Honest-1 because it was right down the street. Dominik was able to get me in right away to check it out. D.R. took a look at the issue, and did a full inspection. The work was done fast, they texted me a link with a full breakdown of the work and inspection results, with pictures of everything. I’m never going anywhere else!

I have a 2009 Honda which was making popping noise when driving. I brought it to Honda in Eagan and Bloomington and after spending a lot of money still was not fixed. I called Honest-1 got the car in the same day, the problem was fixed and had the car back the next day. I highly recommend this auto care and will go place else now.

My AC went out in my truck… at the worst possible time. Called honest 1 and they were able to get me in the next day. The work was done well, the explanation was incredible and they didn’t try and push anything unnecessary on me. Loved the in depth analysis they do on each vehicle in their shop, along with photos to provide sufficient evidence that they aren’t just trying to “up sell” you. I only went to these guys because my mechanic was booked up, but this will be my new place to bring my vehicle. Mike was awesome and my tech Dominik was really helpful, attentive, and courteous when speaking about what they found with my truck. Definitely will be going back and they have a customer for life.
